Steps in the Online Account Opening Process

1. Choose which products and related services you wish to apply for.
2. Complete the online application.
3. Review and accept our Terms and Agreements.  
4. Answer some brief questions that help us to verify who you are, which will also provide extra security for your information.
5. Let us know how you'd like to initially fund your account (mail a check, transfer from an existing account, or transfer from another bank account).

Please note: You cannot apply for business, trust, power of attorney, beneficiary or individual retirement accounts or accounts for minors (i.e. primary account owners under age 18).

Information You Will Need During the Online Account Application Process

To make this process faster and easier, make sure that you have the following information handy during the application process:

• Social Security Number for applicant (and co-applicant, if any)
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License for applicant (and co-applicant, if any)
• Current email address
• Materials for funding your new account (checkbook, bank account number, or account number from another financial institution)

For your protection, this system is protected with enhanced security. During the application process, you will be asked questions about loans or accounts you currently hold that only you should know the answers to. This will help us validate your identity. You may wish to have this information handy during the application process as well.
